Our Story

FastTrack was born from frustration.

Back in 1996, we were IT programmers working at a company drowning in paperwork. Files went missing. Nobody knew who had what. Finding a single document could take hours—or days. We watched productive people waste their time on a problem that technology should have solved.

We pitched a solution to management. They said no.

So we built it anyway. Nights and weekends, we created what would become FastTrack—a straightforward system to track every file, folder, and box using barcode technology. We started selling it to other companies facing the same challenges. The response was immediate.

Eventually, we took the leap and left our jobs to focus on FastTrack full-time.

We're still the same company that built FastTrack because we needed it ourselves. We haven't bloated into an enterprise giant that scares off small firms with complexity and price tags. We have the capabilities of a large-scale solution, but we're accessible to firms of all sizes—from solo practitioners to mid-size practices.

Our vision is simple: expand into other industries where records management matters—healthcare, financial services, government, education. The same problems exist everywhere, and we're ready to solve them.

But our mission stays the same: build powerful, approachable software that makes records management something you set up and forget, not something that keeps you up at night.
